Hello, how are you?
It’s been a whirlwind since Bloody & In Bloom came out (3 months ago already!). Releasing this single has been a very emotional but also very rewarding journey.
Mélusine was featured in 2 notable places: Nordic Music Central and the Reykjavik Grapevine <3
Bloody & In Bloom was added to at least 2 AI-generated playlists on Spotify (leading to at least 300+ new artificial followers from the US. Algorithm? Random act of destiny? Aliens? We’ll never know. But we’ll take what we get!)
The amazing Aurélie stopped by for a bit in Iceland, and we got to take more pictures for an upcoming new project!
Most importantly, I’d love to hear what you got out of listening to this song. The most meaningful part of all this was to hear how Mélusine’s words resonated with you.
Mélusine is not gone, she’s been hibernating, preparing, changing forms, evolving. As with all of us, she also is dealing with the current state of the world and figuring out how she can contribute to the collective in her own way, a way that is positive, hopeful, cathartic.
